UEFA Champions League Cup, Kyiv
On May 26, 2018, for the first time in history, Ukraine was honored to host the final match of perhaps the most famous football tournament - the UEFA Champions League, in which Real Madrid and Liverpool met. A huge replica of the Champions League Trophy was installed on Sofiyivska Square in Kyiv. The success of this campaign is the result of the joint efforts of the UEFA organizing committee, the French company ATC (directly the developers and manufacturers of the replica cup) and the technical specialists of Bita music.
As part of this football festival, many events took place in Kyiv, a whole town "Champions Festival" was installed on the main square of the country, at different locations of which various activities were constantly conducted, from photographing with the main European club trophy, ending with UEFA all-star matches. But perhaps the most extraordinary project within the framework of the 2018 Champions League final was the installation of a huge replica of the Champions League Trophy on Sofiyivska Square in Kyiv. The success of this campaign is the result of the joint efforts of the UEFA organizing committee, the French company ATC (directly the developers and manufacturers of the replica cup) and the technical specialists of Bita music. Just imagine, the total height of the "Cup", taking into account the installation platform, is more than 14 meters, and 6 structures with counterweights, with a total weight of 12 tons, were used to hold it in a relatively static position. To install the "eared trophy", a self-propelled crane with an outreach of 24 meters was used, and the installation process itself took almost 3 days. A project that we are proud of and one of those that we want to repeat!
