Polecam portability is always a huge benefit. The operator crane can be transported in a regular car and in just 10 minutes Polecam is ready to be used.
The new portable operator camera crane is light and easy to use: range from 1.5 to 8 meters, weight up to 20 kg, and when folded and packaged the weight of the entire crane with trunks does not exceed 35 kg. Polecam equipped with with the panoramic head can be mounted on a tripod, operator's trolley or the operator can hold the equipment with the help of a special vest. With such conveniences, changing the shooting location will not take much time.
The secret of this camera jib’s light weight lies within a radically new method of choosing crane and camera material. The main part of the mechanisms consists of 5 universal bars, made from carbon fiber polymers, each bar a bit longer than 1 m and 4 cm in diameter. The counterweight system is extended by only 1 meter and includes counterweight, batteries and camera control block. The entire rotary device with a servo system weighs half a kilogram, which makes it completely safe, unlike other operator cranes.
A distinctive feature of Polecam camera crane is its very fast assembly and disassembly without using any special tools. The average assembly time is 10 minutes and disassembly time is 5 minutes.
Polecam can be used for filming from a car, quad bikes, dune buggies, etc.
Thanks to its versatility, Polecam can film what no camera crane has filmed before.
